=Hyrule Adventures- Crafting=
Ever wanted to find a weapon that had your name on it (figuratively or literally)? Ever wanted to make a potion better than the usual potion? Crafting is where it's at for you! To take up a craft, all you need to do is take a proficiency in it! The higher the proficiency, the better the quality of equipment you make and the more materials you can use!
How does it work? This is where it can get a bit tricky! You first need to figure out what you want to make, ask the game master, and depending on how simple or mundane the item is, it might just take simple materials easily found anywhere. If it's more elaborate or magic based, the difficulty will be raised!
One last thing before going on to what you can do- you can not make any god level items! These items are special, one of a kind, and should not be handed out or made all willy-nilly! The GM will decide if the item you are asking for is too powerful to be made!
=Blacksmithing=
Materials- Metals
Blacksmithing is basically taking a piece of metal, heating it up to high temperatures, then forming it by smacking it with a hammer very maticulously! Usually, this is how weapons and armor is made, but you can also make things like silver-wear, metal furnishings, even everyday stuff like nails, nuts and bolts!
Items needed- Hammer, tongs, anvil, extreme heat source, metal!
=Alchemy=
Materials- Just about anything!
Alchemy is the art of taking things from the world and turning it to something else. Usually, potions is what you're making. You can make potions that can heal, or potions to restore mana, or even make poisons and antidotes!
Items needed- Alchemy set, empty bottles, herbs or monster parts!
=Tailoring=
Materials- Cloth and thread
Tailoring is making clothes for someone! Shirts, pants, dresses, cloaks, what have you! Basically you take the character in question's measurement, then get to work on tailoring the clothes!
Items needed- Cloth, thread, needles
=Enchantment=
Materials- Magic
Enchantment works slightly different than the other forms of crafting. Enchantment takes something mundane and adds a magical property! Say you want to make a cloak that gives invisibility, or a ring that gives enhanced strength! You first need to know the spell for what enchantment you want to instill in to said item, begin endowing in to it an amount of mana that is needed, then make a roll to try to beat a set target number that is equivalent to not only the enchantment desired, but also the level of enchantment desired!
