So for those confused on what to use the different stats for, this is what they do more and what they do and how they help your character.

Physical abilities

Athletics- Your character is more stronger, and can do thing that require more muscle such as certain sports or helping with heavy lifting.
Brawl- How much you can do as far as using only your body to attack. This includes punches, kicks, headbutts, biting, any form of attack that doesn't require a removable weapon in your hand.
Dodge- How well you can move out of the way of incoming visible dangers, this not only includes enemy attacks, but also traps and the like.
Drive- Drive shows how well you can control a vehicle which requires steering, such as a carriage or a ship. The more points you have, the more likely you are able to drive around danger. Also, each point in
Larceny- An ability which would be good for more the rogue, assassin, thief type of character. Helps you break in to things, including locked doors, safes, windows, and even other people's pocket. Also helps with slight of hand movements.
Melee- Your ability to use melee weapons, such as swords, axes, hammers, the like. Each point also gives makes it easier to use one certain type of weapon. You can still use other weapons, but every melee weapon you chose for each point of melee has lower difficulty then using weapons you have not chosen.
Ranged- Your power with ranged weapons, which usually includes bows, crossbows, javelins, shuriken, or just plain old rocks. Same as melee, you can use any ranged weapon, but using ones you pick for each point in ranged is easier to use than the rest.
Stealth- Also good for the shifty rogue or assassin type, this ability helps you with not being seen when trying to do something.
Survival- Good for if you live with no roof over your head, helps you find ways of enduring the elements and harsh environments not inside the cities or towns.

Mental Abilities

Academics- This ability helps you with things such as math, history, anything that you would learn in schools.
Crafts- You are able to make things, be it houses, vehicles, traps, weapons, armor, etc. For each point you spend, you chose one specialty. You can create other things, but making things from the specialties you chose is much easier.
Investigation- You're ability to solve problems and notices things more easily, such as searching for clues to a crime or finding a missing person.
Magic- Your power in magic, for each point, you're magic is stronger and less likely to miss.
Medicine- You're able to look at a biological living form and able to figure out if they're sick or healthy, also helps with making things to help a sick being become well. Each point you take you chose a race of creature (First point always includes your own race), and you are able to understand the physiology of that creature as well.
Occult- You know more about the lore of supernatural entities, including demons, poes, or even gods.
Politics- You're able to understand the politics of the people, helping you decide what would be the next best course of action to help or hinder someone in government jobs.
Science- You learn about everything you can around you, and you try to figure out how to use it to your advantage. Helps with figuring things out such as machines, laboratory work, etc, etc.

Animal Ken- Yo understand animals better, and in doing so can try to coax them in to calming down or enthralling them to rampage. Each point you take, you chose an animal type to specialize in.
Empathy- You observe emotions and understand them better, helping you discern another's viewpoint.
Expression- You are able to express yourself more easily, making it easier for people to understand you. Helps with playing music and dancing as well.
Intimidation- You're ability to scare a person. The more points you have, the more scarier a mofo you can be.
Persuasion- The gentler alternative to intimidation. You are able to soothingly talk someone in to doing something you want or don't want them to do. This includes seduction.
Socialize- Your social interactions with other people in various situations. The more points you have, the more the social butterfly you are.
Streetwise- You are able to navigate the streets better, as well as gain intel on the streets more easily as well.
Subterfuge- Your ability to blend in and be able to do it with out raising too much suspicion.
