So you want to get a character inked? Cool! Here we go!
Tattoos can be just about anything on the character's body, be it a picture, a design, or even text. They can be done in a number of colors, but it's usually a good idea to get one that contrasts the bodies skin color/tone.
Tattoos go under their own stat called "Marks". When getting a tattoo, you can get the following types of tattoos on the specific body parts.
Tattoos can also have magical properties if magic is infused in the ink or any other tool in the process. When making a magic tattoo, ask DM for help on figuring out what they are allowed to do.
Q: Can I get any parts of the body not listed tattooed?
A: Yes, if they are on the outside. Tails, wings (if not feathered), anything of those sort are able to be tattooed as well. Describe the body part in detail when getting tattooed
Q: Is there any risks to getting tattoos?
A: Yes, other than looking cool, if characters do not sterilize needles, your character can get infected and lose HP over time.
Q: Can I give other characters tattoos?
A: Yes! It's the job tattooist! Find it in the job page!
Q: Can I tattoo robots?
A: ...? Yes? If they have something like skin on their forms, it is possible, and still falls under the different body parts and their tattoo sizes.
Q: Can I get a tattoo removed?
A: Yes, though depending on the technology of the world the character is currently in, scarring might be left behind.
Q: Why is there no list of tattoo spells?
A: Because basically they are so extensive, and can either originate from the tattoo itself or from the person's will itself and the tattoo is simply a component (making an animal appear from a drawing)
Q: How do I make my own tattoo magic?
A: By getting a tattoo set and learning tattoo magic. One learns tattoo magic like any other magic- memorizing the magic and imparting it in to the tattoo.
